Savannah Signature Collection was born from a belief: that luxury should never be loud — but always profound.
At Savannah, we believe true luxury is not measured by thread counts or champagne lists, it is found in the rare, meaningful moments that connect you to Africa. Our Signature Collection brings together a hand-picked portfolio of specialty journeys designed to stir the soul, care for the land, and honor the communities we partner with.

To share Africa’s wild beauty and wonder with intrepid travelers is both a privilege and a responsibility.
At Savannahh Signature Collection, we believe luxury and conservation are not opposing forces , they are two sides of the same story. Every journey we design honors the land, uplifts the people who call it home, and contributes to the protection of Tanzania’s remarkable biodiversity.
Our mission is to craft experiences that move the soul and sustain the wild — journeys that inspire guests to see travel not as consumption, but as connection.
We exist for travelers who value meaning over excess, for those who wish to explore consciously, tread lightly, and leave behind something far more lasting than footprints.
Traveler’s Story
The Safari:
We had a spectacular 5 day honeymoon safari with Savannah Tours. We visited covered Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Parks. As it was our honeymoon, we sprung for the 5 star experience, staying at Lemala Mpingo Ridge, Melia Ngorongoro Crater (2 nights), and Four Seasons Serengeti (2 nights). Each of the parks are quite different: (Tarangire = elephants, Manyara = up close and personal, Ngorongoro = beyond picturesque, Serengeti = the classic + lions everywhere!). I would consider each of the parks a “must go” and it felt like we spent the exact right amount of time in each park.
The Guide:
A great guide is what separates a good safari from an excellent one. Our guide, Suphian, was simply fantastic. He was supremely knowledgeable of the surroundings and animals, educating us in snippets without being overbearing. He very diligent — our car (inside and outside) was cleaned daily, and consistently sparkling. He was considerate — he asked what we were most interested in seeing (and learning about) and found a way to make it happen (we hit all of the Big 5 by day four!). He was an optimal combination of very respectful and considerate of our space but once we made it clear we are friendly and wanted to get to know him, displayed a really enjoyable and humorous personality. I am super thankful that he guided us through this experience! It’s been weeks since our Safari, but my wife and I still bring up Suphian daily.
The Process:
Savannah Tours was recommended to me by a friend from Tanzania. I dealt mostly with Cliff, who has always professional and super fast to respond. I had some scheduling issues (potential dates shifting in real time) and payment (my bank wire simply wouldn’t go through due to an issue on my banks end). Throughout the frustrating process, Cliff and team kept a good balance of keeping the pressure on me (for process and clarity) while also being supportive and helpful.
The process was messy, but we got it done. Cliff and team offered options and recommendations for parks and hotels based on what we wanted and our timeframe, and created a customized experience for us. Pricing was clear with options to scale up or scale down depending on what our budget was. After my experience, I would recommend than anyone who has the time and means should go on a Safari in Tanzania. And for everyone I know, I would tell them to go to Cliff and Savannah Tours (and ask for Suphian!).
